Abstract

WELFARE INDICATOR 2018 is an annual publication of the Central Statistics Agency of Belu Regency that presents the level of development of Belu district people's welfare between time and its comparison between districts and residential areas (urban and rural).
The data used were sourced from BPS, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the Ministry of Health. BPS data are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), Podes, and Projection of the Indonesian Population 2010-2020.
This publication presents various aspects of welfare for which data are available and measurable. To facilitate interpretation, changes in the level of welfare are assessed according to eight areas including Population, Health and Nutrition, Education, Employment, Consumption Levels and Patterns, Housing and the Environment, Poverty, and Other Social Conditions which are the reference in efforts to improve the quality of life.
The publication of the 2017 Public Welfare Indicator is expected to be able to provide information on the socio-economic development of the Belu District community. Hopefully this publication can be useful for all parties in supporting the implementation of regional development in particular and national in general.
